Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Elite Baller ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Elite Baller mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you register and use the App, we collect the following information:

• Account information: email address and display name provided during registration.
• Training data: drill names, training session timestamps, and session durations that you log in the App.
• Forum activity: playlists you share, comments you post, and votes you cast in the community forum.
• Device and usage data: basic technical information (such as device type and OS version) collected automatically by our third-party services for analytics and ad delivery purposes.
• Advertising data: to display ads, our advertising partner (Appodeal) and the ad networks it works with may collect your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, and approximate (IP-based) location, along with ad-interaction data. This is used to serve and measure ads.
• Video delivery data: drill demonstration videos are not stored inside the App — they are downloaded from our content delivery network when you press play. Pressing play sends your IP address and basic request information (such as device type) to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, so the video can be delivered to you. No video is downloaded, and no request is made, unless you press play.

The App itself does not request GPS location, your phone number, payment information, or any sensitive personal data. We do not determine your precise location; any location used for advertising is approximate and derived from your IP address by our advertising partners.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your user account.
• Provide the core App features, including drill tracking, history, and the community forum.
• Send account-related emails (e.g. email verification and password resets).
• Display advertisements through Appodeal and the ad networks it works with.
• Improve the App's performance and fix issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:

Firebase Authentication (Google LLC)
Used to securely manage user accounts and email verification. Firebase may process your email address to authenticate your identity. See Firebase Privacy and Security.

Cloud Firestore (Google LLC)
Your training data, display name, and forum content are stored in Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google. Data is stored on Google's servers. See Google Privacy Policy.

Appodeal (Appodeal Inc.)
The App displays banner, medium-rectangle, and interstitial advertisements through Appodeal, an ad mediation platform that works with multiple ad networks (such as AppLovin, Unity Ads, BidMachine, and others) to serve and measure ads. Appodeal and these partners may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and approximate location to deliver personalised or contextual ads. You can review and adjust your ad preferences via your device settings (Ads > Reset Advertising ID / Opt out of ads personalisation), and via the in-app consent dialog shown to users in the EEA and UK. Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC)
We record anonymous technical events — chiefly whether an advertisement loaded, failed, or was displayed — to diagnose ad delivery problems. These events are not tied to your name or email address. See Firebase Privacy and Security.

Cloudflare, Inc.
Drill demonstration videos are hosted on Cloudflare R2 and delivered through Cloudflare's content delivery network at videoseliteballer.org. When you press play on a drill video, Cloudflare receives your IP address and standard request information in order to deliver the file. Cloudflare acts as a hosting and delivery provider on our behalf; it does not use this information to advertise to you, and we do not send it your account details. If you never play a video, no request is made. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Beyond the services listed above, we do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google's Firebase / Cloud Firestore infrastructure, which employs industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We apply appropriate security rules to restrict access to your data so that only you and authorised App functions can read or modify it.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the App. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed in accordance with the deletion process described in Section 7.

Video files on your device: when you play a drill video, the file is stored temporarily in the App's private storage so that replaying it during the same session does not re-download it. This cache is cleared automatically the next time the App starts, and you can also clear it at any time through your device's app storage settings. It contains only drill videos — no personal data.

5. Children's Privacy

Elite Baller is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at eliteballerteam@outlook.com and we will promptly delete that information.

For users between 13 and 16 in the European Economic Area, parental or guardian consent may be required in accordance with applicable national law.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: You can request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): You can request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to data portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object: You can object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing.
• Right to restrict processing: You can request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at eliteballerteam@outlook.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Account and Data Deletion

In the App: you can delete your account and all associated personal data yourself at any time from Profile → Delete account. You will be asked to re-enter your password to confirm. This permanently removes your profile, training history, playlists, and forum posts and comments. It cannot be undone.

By email: if you cannot access the App, you may instead request deletion by emailing eliteballerteam@outlook.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account.

Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account and personal data (including training history and forum content) within a reasonable timeframe. Note that some data may be retained for a short period in backups before being permanently removed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify you via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. The current version is always available at eliteballer.app.
